GROCERY AND RETAIL SHOPPING
Food Lion grocery store and other retail shops are located 4 miles south of the Villages at Ocean Hill, providing visitors with food and other provisions.

Harris Teeter grocery store is located 6 miles south of the Villages at Ocean Hill, at the entrance to the Currituck Club community.

The Shops at Corolla Light include restaurants, a bakery, a pizzeria and small boutiques and are located 2 miles south of the Villages at Ocean Hill.

Timbuk II, an upscale shopping area across Route 12 from Food Lion, offers boutiques, restaurants, shops, an ice cream parlor, a miniature golf course and go-kart track, and is located 4 miles south of the Villages at Ocean Hill.

The North Carolina ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control) Store is located 7 miles south of the Villages at Ocean Hill, at 500-A Hunt Club Drive, Corolla, NC 27927; Phone: (252) 453-9628; Store Hours: Monday-Saturday 10am -7pm. All ABC stores are closed on Sunday.

The closest pharmacy, Sunshine Family Pharmacy, is located in Duck at 1187 Duck Road, Duck, NC 27949; Phone: (252) 715-0170. Additional area pharmacies include CVS and Walgreens in Southern Shores.

SAFETY AND ENFORCEMENT
SPEED LIMIT:
Visitors are requested to kindly abide by the community speed limit: Limit vehicle speed on community streets to 15 MPH.

PARKING:
Visitors should park in driveways and community parking lots only and kindly keep all wheels on the paved surface of the driveway or parking lot. Overnight parking in community parking lots is prohibited. Do not park on the street or on the shoulders of the streets. Vehicles parked on the street or shoulders will be towed at the owner’s expense. Parking passes are required for use of community parking lots and must be displayed on the vehicle’s dashboard.

TRASH & RECYCLING PICK-UPS:
All trash must be placed in the wheeled containers provided under or next to the house. Recyclable materials should be placed in the wheeled container with the yellow lid. Trash collections are on Wednesday and Saturday in-season (May 1st – Sept. 30th). Any trash not placed in the containers will not be removed. Containers need to be placed at the roadside on Tuesday and Friday evenings. Containers must be returned to their storage locations at the house after pick-up on Wednesday and Saturday. (Please Note: Saturday pick-ups for trash are only available in-season; off-season pick-ups are on Wednesdays only).

BEACH FIRES:
Beach fires are prohibited by county ordinance and community rules.

DUNE PROTECTION:
Please keep off of the dunes! Walking, climbing, jumping, etc. is prohibited. Please do not damage or remove fences, sea oats or foliage as they help preserve our delicate environment.

FIREWORKS:
Aerial, self -propelled and exploding fireworks are prohibited by state law and community rules.
