Swimming Pools
Nestled within the picturesque confines of The Villages at Ocean Hill (VOH) community, Members, their Guests, and Renters can access two community swimming pools, each offering its own unique charm and ambiance.
The first pool, located on Sandcastle Drive and part of our Oceanfront Pool Complex, beckons with its serene oceanfront setting, providing a refreshing retreat where the soothing sounds of the waves complement the gentle lap of the water. Sharky's Snack Bar is also located there and open during in-season hours (go to our Snack Bar webpage to learn more). Meanwhile, the second pool, nestled on Lakeside Drive, part of our Lakeside Pool Complex adjacent to the Fitness Center, offers a tranquil oasis surrounded by lush greenery, perfect for those seeking a more secluded swim.
While these pools promise hours of aquatic enjoyment, it's important to note that neither is staffed with a lifeguard. As such, swimmers are entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring their own safety, as well as that of their loved ones.
Renters: No parking or use of amenities until after 4:00pm on check-in day through 10:00am on check-out day.
Please note the community parking lot on Sandcastle Dr near the oceanfront pool and Sharky's Snack Bar requires a parking permit. Permit not needed if only parking to pick-up orders at Sharky's.
All patrons must check in with the Pool Attendant. Members (including their immediate family and non-paying guests) must provide their name and VOH property address to the Pool Attendant who has a list of Members. Recreational Membership Program (REC) Members must provide their name and local property address to the Pool Attendant who has a list of Members; REC Members who have an individual, couple, or household membership, must be named. Renters must present their pool pass. The Renter Packet (obtained from the rental property company or agent) contains an introductory card for Renters to exchange for pool passes at the Fitness Center. Associate members do not have access to the community swimming pools.
Pool Use Rules (for both pools):
No alcohol consumption is allowed at either pool. See additional pool rules posted at each pool. The occupancy limit for the Lakeside Pool is 103 and for the Oceanfront Pool is 98. Each pool has an emergency phone, restrooms, and outdoor showers. Sharky's Snack Bar has a first aid kit and Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Effective for the 2026 Season:
- All Members (including their immediate family and non-paying guests), REC Members, and Renters must sign-in at the pool
- Any person who is incontinent or not fully toilet trained must wear appropriate waterproof clothing when entering the pool
- Free Wi-Fi available at the Oceanfront Pool Complex

Hours of Operation for Swimming Pools:
- In-Season: Daily 10:00am – 6:00pm (ET) daily (Saturday Memorial Day Weekend through Monday Labor Day)
- Off-Season: CLOSED (all other dates)
NOTE: For safety concerns, the pools may close due to inclement weather.
